Auspicious Inauguration
Dr. Rajkumar Trust initiated
Dr. Rajkumar, in his very first foray into celluloid, essayed the role of a devotee who wishfully offers his eyes to God, his last act in this world was to replicate this deed and gift the miracle of sight.
Furthering his concern for eye donation in particular and his affinity for social service, Parvathamma Rajkumar, alongwith her sons and other eminent people, on the occasion of Dr. Rajkumar's 79th birth anniversary on 24th of April initiated 'Dr. Rajkumar Trust' at Green House restaurant, Bangalore.
Eminent writer and director Baragur Ramachandrappa, who is a member of the trust, formally launched Dr. Rajkumar Trust, declaring that it was to benefit the 'Abhimaani Devarugalu', the general public, whom the legend worshipped as his Gods.
