Anekal Camp

The first eye camp was conducted at Anekal under the auspicious of Dr. Rajkumar Trust on 10th June 07 where 809 patients were screened and 154 identified as requiring surgery. As a direct consequence of the same the following activities have be conducted:

• Eye Transplants were conducted for 15 people (mostly children)
• Cataract operations conducted for 70 people
• Laser treatment for 2 people
• 292 glasses donated

Note:

All the administrative expenses of the Trust is borne by the President of the Trust, Mrs. Parvathamma Rajkumar, to ensure that the entire amount submitted by the well wishers of the trust is only utilized for the purpose for which the Trust has been formed, that of donating eyes and gifting sight to the economically underprivileged people.

Dr. Rajkumar Trust has been conceived to further developmental works to assist the economically underprivileged sections in the field of healthcare, education, art and culture.

All donations made to Dr. Rajkumar Trust are exempt from tax under Sec 80 G of the Income Tax Act
